Peer Review Process

Manuscripts are initially appraised by the editor-in-chief for conformity to the overall editorial guidelines of the journal. Appropriate manuscripts are sent then to the editorial assistant in order to review all standards of the manuscript are met. From the editorial assistant they go, regarding the content, to the managing editor, who will start the peer review process.

Upon completion of the external review process, a decision will be made by the editorial team and the corresponding author will then be notified by email. Authors of manuscripts that have been accepted for publication will then be asked to provide a final copy of the paper.

Accepted papers are edited to improve readability and effectiveness of communication. In certain cases, the manuscript may be returned to the author for revisions before the article is put forward for publication. In all cases, the editors reserve the right to make editorial changes that do not materially affect the meaning of the text.
